Atlantic City Billiards hosted the Blaze 9 Ball
Tour on Sunday July 19, 2009. A Strong field came out to play.
Players like Shaun Wilkie, Bruce Nagle, Bob Madara, Mike Miller,
Randy Schwager, Denise Reeves and Matt Krah.
Leading the top half of the bracket was Bruce Nagle with wins
over Tim Guld 7-2, Denise Reeve 7-1, Wali Muhammad 7-5, and
Bob Madara 7-2. Leading the Bottom half of the bracket was Shaun
Wilkie with wins over Mike Fernan 7-0, Lou Patrikios 7-3 and
Randy Schwager 7-1.
Playing for the hot seat was Bruce Nagle VS Shaun Wilkie this
was a one way match with Shaun Wilkie winning the match 7-2.
Sending Bruce Nagle to the one lost side where Mike Miller was
waiting this was a great match, Mike Miller jumped to a 6-2
lead but Bruce Nagle came back slowly winning the next two games
making the score 6-4. On rack 11 Mike Miller miss a straight
on 9 ball for the win, that shot cost him the match Bruce Nagle
went on the win that game and the next two to win the match
7-6 and a spot in the finals.
In the finals it was Bruce Nagle VS Shaun Wilkie a rematch of
the hot seat Bruce Nagle has to beat Shaun Wilkie twice to win
the event. Once again this was a one way match with Shaun Wilkie
winning easily 7-3 and the event. Shaun Wilkie would like to
thank Cue & Case for all his Lucasi Hybrid Equipment and
his new polo shirts. Shaun says everything is going great and
he is looking forward in playing his best pool for Cue &
Case.
