to Skyline Billiards on Sunday July 12th in Brooklyn NY. A strong
field came out to play. Players like: Joey Testa, Marc Vidal,
Scott Tollefson, Randy Schwager, Jorge Rodriquez, Barry Banks,
Manny Chau, Jennifer Barretta, and Caroline Pao.
Leading the top half of the bracket was Marc Vidal with wins
over Wali Muhammad 7-5, Jerry Calderon 7-5, and Scott Tollefson
7-2, Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Joey Testa with
wins over Sammy Wu 7-3, Jose Burgos 7-4, Jorge Rodriquez 7-3,
andBarry Banks 7-5.
Playing for the hot seat was Joey Testa Vs Marc Vidal, this
was a one way match with Joey Testa winning easily 7-2. Sending
Marc Vidal to the one lost side waiting for Marc Vidal on the
one lost side was Scott Tollefson this was a great match that
went hill hill with Marc Vidal pulling off the win 7-6.
In the finals it was Marc Vidal VS Joey Testa, Marc Vidal has
to beat Joey Testa twice to win the event. The first set belonged
to Marc Vidal with a 7-4 win, but in the second set Joey Testa
pulled away late in the match to win 7-5.
