to the Green Room Billiards in Maple Shade NJ Saturday May 23,
2009.
Leading the top half of the bracket was Joey Testa with wins
over Jeff Pierce 7-3 Tim Smith 7-3, Bob Burt 7-3 and Derek Schwager
7-4. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Shaun Dobson
with wins over Rob Palm 7-2, John Spencer 7-1, Kenny Rutman
7-5, and Sammy Sega 7-4.
Playing for the hot seat was Shaun Dobson VS Joey Testa this
was a great match that went to double hill when it was all said
and done it was Shaun Dobson winning the match 7-6 sending Joey
Testa to the one lost side. Waiting for Joey Testa on the one
lost side was Kenny Rutman this was a one sided match with Joey
Testa taking control of the event from the start and never looking
back winning 7-2 and another shot at Shaun Dobson in the finals.
In the finals it was Joey Testa VS Shaun Dobson, Joey Testa
has to beat Shaun Dobson twice to win the event. The first set
was all Joey Testa with a 7-0 win, but the second set was a
different story with Shaun Dobson winning late in the match
7-5 and the event.
