Blaze 9 Ball tour made its way to Rockaway Billiards
in Rockaway, NJ, a strong field came out to play. Special thanks
to Bob Guerra for hosting the event.
Leading the top half of the bracket was Mike Miller with wins
over Evan Broxmeyer 7-6, Larry Ingram 7-0, Bob Guerra 7-3, and
Wali Muhammad 7-3. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was
Biker Bill with wins over Jose Burgos 7-6, Carl Khan 7-5, and
Kenny Rutman 7-6.
Playing for the hot was Biker Bill vs Mike Miller this was a
great match with Mike Miller pulling off the win 7-5 to get
the hot seat. Sending Biker Bill to the one lost side where
Kenny Rutman was waiting. This is a one way match with Kenny
Rutman winning easily 7-3 to get to the finals.
In the finals it was Mike Miller vs Kenny Rutman. Kenny Rutman
has to beat Mike Miller twice to win the tournament. It didn’t
get that far because Mike Miller took care of business and won
the first set 7-3 to win the tournament.
