Stop 13 of the Blaze 9 ball tour made it's way
to The Green Room in Maple Shade, NJ, a strong field came out
to play. Players like Mike Davis, Matt Krah, Al Lapena, Danny
Basavich, John Grassia and Lou Guynee to name a few.
Leading the way one the top half of the bracket was Matt Krah
with wins over Rocco Vespe Jr. 7-3, Bristol Bob 7-2 and John
Grassia 7-1. Leading the way on the bottom half of the bracket
was Mike Davis with wins over Jack Springfield 7-2, Joe Cataldi
7-2, Brent Shreiner 7-5, Al Lapena 7-6.
Playing for the hot seat was Matt Krah vs Mike Davis, Mike took
control of the match from the beginning and never looked back
winning the match 7-4 and the hot seat sending Matt Krah to
the one loss side.
On the one loss side it was Matt Krah with a win over John Grassia
7-5 to give him another shot at Mike Davis, this time in the
finals.
In the finals it was Matt Krah vs Mike Davis, this time Matt
Krah put up a better fight taking Mike Davis to double hill
and winning the match 9-8. |
